Ruger Marks 75 Years with Limited Edition No. 1 Rifle 2024

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) announced today that, in celebration of its 75th anniversary year in 2024, it 2024 will produce a Limited Edition of the legendary Ruger No. 1 rifle. Limited to a production run of just 75 rifles, each of which will feature “1 of 75” engraved on the bottom of the receiver as well as falling within the special serial number range of R75-401 through R75-475.

As Ruger Firearms President and CEO Chris Killoy summed it up, “This rifle not only commemorates a significant milestone in the Company’s history, but it is a testament to the dedicated craftsmen and women working to preserve Bill Ruger’s legacy.” He described the rifle as a “beautifully crafted work of art.”

The Ruger No. 1 was heralded in 1967 and is recognized by many as the quintessential example of strength and beauty in a hammerless falling block rifle design. The 75th Anniversary Edition is graciously appointed with scrollwork engraving to highlight the gold and silver Ruger Eagle as well as the 75th Anniversary logo.

This limited edition rifle is chambered in .270 Win. It is set in a 22-inch barrel, which includes express sights and integral scope mounts machined directly on the solid steel quarter rib for strength and reliability. High-grade American walnut stock complements the elegance of this receiver and barrel, which are sure to make this masterpiece a collectible one.

He developed an eCommerce solution for OMG, providing coaches, players, and team dealers with an easy and quick way of ordering sports goods and apparel; this is an example of how McKeaigg has expertly leveraged technology to make life easier.

OMG has grown from a staff of two to supporting over 3,000 dealers and decorators with revenues of over $22 million. He works together with the biggest brands like Under Armour, Adidas, and Augusta, more evidence of the weight McKeaigg has within the industry.

Kent McKeaigg’s legacy in sporting goods would be in changing the way coaches distribute their uniforms and gear, the way team dealers take orders and sell, and how brands access and service customers, respectively. He’s been in the industry long enough to acquire insight and build strong relations, which can hardly ever leave an indelible mark on the industry.
