严格的空域规定和先进的海军能力凸显军事发展【新闻综述】

Edwards Air Force Base and Plant 42 have implemented stringent airspace restrictions to safeguard national security and ensure the integrity of aerospace testing and evaluation. Unauthorized overflights by personally owned drones are strictly prohibited, and private aviation over Plant 42 is only permitted when the airfield is inactive for Defense Department or mission-partner use. The airspace over Edwards AFB is off-limits at all times unless prior permission is obtained from the relevant airspace management office. Violations may result in drones being disabled, damaged, destroyed, seized, or confiscated, and operators could face criminal prosecution, fines, and loss of operator privileges.

The base also houses the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance Range, where small arms weapons firing occurs. The area is marked with “No Trespassing” signs due to the inherent dangers. Access to Edwards AFB is restricted to active duty personnel, their dependents, retirees, and individuals who work or reside on the installation.

In naval developments, the Arleigh Burke class (DDG 51) destroyers continue to be a cornerstone of the U.S. Navy’s surface fleet. These destroyers, which replaced the Charles F. Adams class, feature an all-new hull form and incorporate propulsion and machinery elements from the Spruance class. The integrated Aegis Weapons System (AWS), proven on the Kidd class destroyers and installed on Ticonderoga class cruisers, is a key component. The AWS includes a multi-function phased array radar, advanced anti-air warfare (AAW) and anti-submarine warfare (ASW) systems, vertical launch systems (VLS), and the Tomahawk Weapon System.

Commissioned on July 4, 1991, the Arleigh Burke class has undergone continuous upgrades, enhancing sensors, weapons, and support systems. The class employs all-steel construction and consists of four variants or “Flights.” Flight III ships, starting with DDG 125, feature the AN/SPY-6(V)1 Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) system, which significantly enhances air and missile defense capabilities.

To date, 71 DDG 51 class ships have been delivered, with 18 more on contract and 12 in various stages of construction. A modernization program aims to provide mid-life upgrades to maintain mission relevance, reduce workload requirements, and increase warfighting capabilities while lowering total ownership costs. Thirty-seven modernizations have been completed or are in progress, with 17 more planned through the Future Years Defense Program.

Meanwhile, the Romanian CA-95 Anti-Aircraft Vehicle remains a vital asset for the Romanian Land Forces. This highly mobile, short-range, amphibious self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon can carry four infrared-guided surface-to-air missiles and has an operational range of approximately 700 km. The CA-95 can engage low-altitude targets up to 4,200 meters in height, with optimal engagement between 30 and 3,500 meters. The vehicle is built on a TAB-79 amphibious chassis and features a secondary armament of a 7.62mm PKT machine gun.

These developments underscore the ongoing advancements and strategic measures in military technology and operations, reflecting a commitment to maintaining robust defense capabilities.
